LOL I Liked it!

It reminded of that ancient story I heard, and you utitlized the style of salad fingers well! It was funny! Only thing is you ignored some minor details, so i couldnt give you a 10.

Its nice.

but its not in sync. The lips never move at the same time as the voice clip. Look at one of the tutorials on lip synching here at NG, and also make the voices more clear, sometimes i couldnt understand waht they were saying.

I Like it..but you know what would make it better?

Voice acting. Its a tad slow with text talking (I did like the first one though, thats my fave one) Contact me if you need help on that part :)

Yeah voice acting would be nice, but I can certainly understand how much of a pain it is since I've used it twice.

Mainly because you get one week to do EVERYTHING in the toon or comic so when you need a VA you have to get lines to them, wait for them to get back and then generally lip-sync it. It definitely adds time to making the Flash when you are already strapped for time.

I will make the suggestion, though. Thanks for the review. =)

And rightfully so. Cmon, what is this, a half-assed preloader, and two options, one with a somewhat decent actionscript animation, and another with something....worthy of blamming.

Let's be honest, you made this in less than 15 minutes.

[Super Mario bros Z ep 4 (old series)]

One of the few good sprite series out there.

This series has a very well thought out storyline, using themes from Super Mario Bros and Sonic put together in the the style of Dragon Ball Z. However, its actually better than DBZ series because in the show more than half the episode is spent in characters thinking about their actions and not actually executing them. Your decision to use sprites was wise, making the majority of the episode action (well, this one had a flashback, but the action is good portion of it) and not so much wasting time talking, which you used only minimally, even provided the viewer to option to skip all that mooshy crap.

Also, this sprite movie is original in the action scene, which executes 3D movement (when mario kicks a koopa through the wall and the camera turns to view the back of it) and the fighting was creative every second, and not simple, punch, kick, and throw. The music was high tense, keeping the attention, and loud sound effects to keep interest and shock.

The characters were developed in a similar style to that of DBZ. Goku, who always does it right, like Sonic. The pussy one, (i forget his name) portrayed by Luigi, Piccolo portrayed as Shadow. And mario and yoshi are similar to their video game personas, but fit the storyline anyway. The koopa bros are a typical bad guy in the series who seem to give off the vibe of "these guys are easy to beat up" but are actually tough. Metal Sonic, obviously, the main antagonist like Frieza or Cell. The bald guy (forgot his name) to E Gadd, and princess, like herself.

Not to mention the opening and ending of the episode reminded me of the series.

The choice to not have voices but "ughs" or "urghs" or "Luigi!" instead is wise to have flow.

It was ok.

Graphics were ok, flow of the movie was too slow, too cheesy, not that funny, and weird how you have your guitar playing random ditties. It was a bit boring.

Too Repetitive

It got old after a while. People on coke do crazy ass shit, not just kick each others asses and have sex with them later. Do a little more research and be more a tad more creative. But overall, it was good.

BEST SUBMISSION EVER ON NEWGROUNDS!

This movie by far surpasses all of the previous ones, and I believe any other submission. It kept me on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what would happen! Would the Clown win again? Would the hero die for good? And i loved how you used new settings other than just a simple building, and how you completely went past the normal victim sprites to make the Mega Clown!
